The Museum of Costa Rican Art (MAC) is pleased to invite the public to enjoy the music of the Orchestra for Life, an ensemble composed of children and young people, patients and former patients of the National Children’s Hospital (HNN), who participate in the program of the National System of Musical Education (SINEM). The recital will be on Saturday, November 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the Golden Hall of the MAC, located in Sabana Este.
The Orchestra for Life is an initiative that seeks to provide an opportunity for personal, social and artistic development to children and young people who have faced or face a serious illness. Through music, the aim is to improve their quality of life, their self-esteem and their social integration. The ensemble is directed by maestro Alejandro Gutiérrez and has the support of SINEM and HNN.
