Would you like to see how artists from Italy, France and Spain transform three green areas of San José into creative and sustainable gardens? Then don’t miss the project “Concreto Vegetal - Jardines de artistas”, which aims to unite art, ecology and society for the encounter and transformation of the community.
The project is an initiative of EUNIC (National Institutes of Culture of the European Union) in conjunction with the French Alliance, the Cultural Center of Spain and the Embassy of Italy, with the collaboration of the Municipality of San José. The intervened parks are Parque Líbano, Parque Tiradentes and the green area of Iglesia de la Merced.
The inauguration will be on Friday, October 6th in Parque Tiradentes at 9:30 am, with a green march through the three parks, accompanied by a cimarrona and mascarades. The event is free and open to all audiences. Attendees are invited to dress in green or wear some accessory of that color, as well as banners related to the conservation of the environment and the fight against climate change.
