The Calderón Guardia Museum opens its doors to a new exhibition space for art and culture, which will offer creators and the public a variety of activities and artistic expressions. The new space, which opens on Friday, November 24 at 2 pm, has an area of 1100 square meters and is located in the facilities of the Museum, which date from the fifties. The space is named “The Social Reform” in recognition of the great legacy of the Social Reformer of Costa Rica, Dr. Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia, who promoted important social and political transformations in the country. The space was rehabilitated with the financial and technical contribution of the Heritage Center, under the figure of bidding, with an investment of ¢ 250,000,000.00 (two hundred and fifty million colones).
